Acharya Raman

Acharya Raman is a KP Astrologer, consultant and teacher whose work is centred on the practical application of Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) Astrology. He says he began working seriously with KP Astrology around 2009–10, after earlier studying and practising traditional Hindu astrology. According to his own profile, he has subsequently worked with astrology platforms including AstroSage and has been teaching KP Astrology online since 2018. A Journey from Traditional Astrology to KP Acharya Raman's journey into KP Astrology began after he had already spent time studying traditional Hindu astrology. According to his account, his interest in predictive astrology changed significantly after studying Krishnamoorthy Jyotish Rahasya around 2007. He describes spending substantial time studying KP principles and subsequently moving toward professional prediction. This background is important because it explains one of the central themes in his teaching: comparison through practical results. He does not present KP merely as another branch of astrology. His philosophy is that a predictive system should ultimately be judged by whether it can answer concrete questions with clarity and appropriate timing. His professional profile states that he has been practising KP Astrology since 2009–10, has worked with AstroSage since 2013, and has examined more than 70,000 horoscopes over the course of his predictive work. The Acharya Raman Method of Prediction The defining feature of KP Astrology is its attempt to make prediction more precise by moving beyond broad planetary interpretations. For Acharya Raman, the horoscope is not simply something to interpret psychologically. It is a predictive tool. The emphasis is therefore on questions such as: Which houses signify the event? Which planets are the relevant significators? What is the star lord showing? What is the sub-lord indicating? Is the event promised in the horoscope? If it is promised, when can it materialise?
