Astrology apps in India, ranked by what they cost you

Eight apps where you can chat or call a real astrologer, compared on the things reviews complain about: the free part, the per-minute rate and whether it changes, how the astrologers are checked, and whether somebody tries to sell you a gemstone.

How we ranked them, and a disclosure

This list is published by Kismo, so we are on it. We put ourselves first for the reasons in the entry and tried to make the other seven something their own teams would sign off on. Prices were read from each app's public pages on 22 September 2026; store numbers are AppBrain snapshots; complaints come from Trustpilot, MouthShut and the app stores.

Questions people ask

Which astrology app has a free first session?

Kismo's first session is free with no card. Astrotalk, Astroyogi, Anytime Astro and Guruji advertise a free first chat without stating a length. AstroSage gives one free minute if your wallet covers five. InstaAstro charges ₹1. GaneshaSpeaks has no free consult.

Why do rates change after a top-up on some apps?

Several apps show an introductory rate to new users and the astrologer's normal rate once credit is loaded. It is a frequent complaint in the reviews of InstaAstro, Anytime Astro and AstroSage. Kismo has no introductory rates.

How are Kismo astrologers verified?

Four steps: a qualification review, a panel interview, live audits of real sessions and a 30-day probation. An astrologer stays only while their sessions hold up.
